Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a procedure where we remove the nerve from inside the root of the tooth.
The root canals are located, measured, cleaned and shaped with fine instruments. The canals are then filled with a special material.

There are many reasons why we need to remove a nerve, the most common is persistent pain leading to an abscess and possible swelling.

Local Anaesthetic is used throughout this procedure and every step is taken to ensure that you are completely comfortable while the work is being carried out. There are no reasons for this procedure to be painful.

Here at Walton Dental Surgery we use the latest, state of the art equipment and materials including digital xrays.
